The Hollywood Highland Center. The elephants and pillars are actual sized replicas from a set of "Intolerance: Love's Struggle Through the Ages", a silent film directed by D. W. Griffith in 1916.

The entire set used to be on at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard, until the L.A. Fire Dept. declared it a hazard and ordered it torn down.
