Cambridge Naturals - Vitamins, supplements, body care. Located in Porter Square in Cambridge, this store has an excellent selection of natural vitamins, supplements, and body care items. If there's a new supplement that has been getting attention in the holistic community, they'll have it.

The people who work there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, too. If something ails you, check 'em out. Vitamin World - Vitamins cheaper than anywhere else (factory direct). Boston Alternative Health - Eastern Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine To be honest, I don't know anything about this place, but several herbal places have disappeared since my last update, and I see these guys carry quality Chinese herbs from California. They have on-site practitioners and expertise in herbal remedies. They're located in the Back Bay. 581 Boylston Street (Copley Square), Suite 302E, Boston (617) 306-7159.

The Expanding Awareness Radio Program - A weekly radio show on WZBC 90.3 FM and streaming live on wzbc.org, featuring interviews focusing on paranormal, holistic health, environmental, animal rights and progressive topics. Victor has on many health practitioners, and the callers are very knowledgeable and anxious to share their information as well. A very valuable resource for holistic health information. It airs every Saturday morning from 10-11am, preceded by new age, ambient and world music from 7am and a weekly astrology report at 9:30. Shows are archived on WZBC for two weeks. Delicious Magazine - A monthly magazine covering holistic health. Includes articles, new products, health news, and product coupons. They also put out an annual Guide to Natural Health (food, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, etc.). Published in Boulder, CO (303) 939-8440.

Earth Star Magazine - A bi-montly magazine covering holistic health, spiritual pursuits, and environmental concerns. Energy Times - "Enhancing your vitality through nutrition, health and harmony" - Energy Times used to be available free from Cambridge Naturals - not sure if it still is. A monthly magazine focusing on nutrition. Includes articles, news, new products, letters, and product coupons.

Natural Awakenings - Boston Edition - Information about healthy eating, keeping fit, green living, etc. Includes a Boston-area holistic calendar, local blogs and resources Visit their website.

Spirit Of Change Magazine - (available FREE from Seven Stars, and in boxes around town — including one at the Davis Square T-stop near the Somerville Theatre, and another near Cambridge Naturals in Cambridge. A quarterly magazine covering holistic health, spirituality, paranormal topics, environmental and animal rights issues. Includes articles; calendar of events in New England; directory of practitioners and resources; information forum; book, music, and video reviews; and classified ads. They also publish the New England Holistic Health Guide (yearly; also FREE at Seven Stars). This comprehensive guide includes a listing of practitioners and resources in the New England region, arranged alphabetically by modality (Acupressure to Yoga, and everything in between). Tibetan Herbal Healing - Located near Davis Square in Somerville, Dr. Keyzom Bhutti (who served as a chief physician at the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute in Darjeeling for 25 years) offers traditional Tibetan healing — an effective, natural and inexpensive method of improving both physical and mental health. Their web site offers valuable information about Tibetan healing practices and Tibetan herbs.

Bryn Durham - Bryn offers therapeutic massage (foot reflexology and Reiki Treatments). I can personally recommend the foot reflexology — it's incredible (through massaging the different parts of the foot, one can release blocked energy and blood flow in different parts of the body). He is located near Davis Square in Somerville, and can be reached via LinkedIn.

The Healing Tao Center of Boston, Marie Favorito, Director - Marie gives classes in beginners' Tai Chi Chi Kung (a wonderful and gentle way to get in shape and reduce stress!), Taoist Meditation, Taoist Chi Kung Yoga, Advanced Tai Chi, and Advanced Meditations.
